Yu Tung and Chief Executive, Mr Tung Chee Hwa |
The University of Western
Ontario's Richard Ivey School of Business
was the first North American business school to establish a campus
in Asia,
called The Cheng Yu Tung
Management Institute. Located in the Hong Kong Convention
and Exhibition Centre, the Institute offers a superb international
learning facility specially designed to meet the exacting standards
of the Richard Ivey School of Business's Executive MBA program.
The Cheng Yu Tung Management Institute
is the perfect environment for bringing people together for productive
collaboration and shared learning.
Dr.
Cheng sought to complement the existing education programs in
Hong Kong and China with an international MBA program, ambitious
teaching materials development, and a state-of-the-art facility.
Ivey answered. Together with his alma mater, Dr. Cheng established
the Cheng Yu Tung Management Institute to honor his father's commitment
to education.
The
Institute, located at the prestigious Hong Kong Convention and
Exhibition Centre, is a superb international learning facility
specially designed to meet the exacting standards of the Ivey
EMBA program. Officially opened in September 1998 by Mr. Tung
Chee Hwa, the HKSAR Chief Executive, the Institute provides organizations
with a new resource for high quality and interactive training.
