2019 SYSBS-Ivey National Case Competition Highlights

The 2019 SYSBS-Ivey National Business Case Competition was jointly organized by Chan Sui-Kau Asia-Pacific Case Development and Research Center, Sun Yat-sen Business School and Ivey Case Centre (Asia) of Ivey Business School, Western University, Canada.

This year, 7 teams from top universities in China were invited. Ivey Case Center (Asia) was honored to provide two most recent cases “Volkswagen Group: Adapting in the Age of AI” and “Medicloud Singapore: Digital Health Entrepreneurship in an Evolving Industry” for the competition.

Dr. Shanmin Li, Vice President of Sun Yat-sen University, gave the welcome speech.


Prof. Chris Chan, Associate Dean of Ivey Asia, was invited to be judge of the final round.


Ms.Carol Zheng, Regional Director of Ivey Asia, was invited to be judge of the preliminary round.


SYSBS won first place in the final round.

We strongly believe the successful competition has provided valuable experience for the students and academic professionals to learn more about the Case Method.
