2020 SYSBS-Ivey National Case Competition Highlights

The 2020 SYSBS-Ivey National Business Case Competition, a practical competition focused on case analysis in business management science, was jointly organized by Chan Sui-Kau Asia-Pacific Case Development and Research Center, Sun Yat-sen Business School, and Ivey Case Centre (Asia) of Ivey Business School, Western University, Canada. This virtual event is dedicated to providing a high-level communication platform for domestic outstanding business school students to improve their overall ability and quality.

This year, 8 teams from top universities in China were invited. Ivey Case Center (Asia) was honored to provide two most recent cases “Airparking: Digitalizing Shared Parking” and “BYD: Blockchain-Enabled Green Ecosystem” for the competition.

In the end, Nanjing University stood out in fierce competition and became the winner of this competition. The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) won the second prize, and the Xi'an Jiaotong University won the third prize. Professor Xiaolin Xu, Director of the Case Center of Nanjing University Business School, Associate Professor Su Liwen, Assistant Dean of the School of Economics and Management of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen), and Associate Professor Dong Nanyan of Xi’an Jiaotong University won the Best Coach Award. Peking University, Sun Yat-Sen University, and Sichuan University teams won the Excellent Award. The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen), Sun Yat-sen University, and Sichuan University won the Best Popularity Award. Renmin University of China and Hunan University won the Most Potential Award
